Wheeled Chassis - Kinematic Design of Handling Platform

Jiří FISCHER

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of mechanism’s kinematics of a handling platform which is intended for a manipulation with sensors of wheeled chassis. It solves a selection of a suitable kinematic chain of the mechanism, and for the selected scheme it solves kinematics of the end of the chain’s motion. To solve the kinematic variables the matrix method of calculation has been used.

Minimal Energy Effect

Dusan MAGA, Sona PAVLIKOVA

Abstract

The basic ideas, as well as the possible way of technical interpretation of the Principle of MinimalEnergy Effect will be presented in the paper, followed by practical examples. Based on these the reader will beable to follow the principle and build an understandable theory on professional numerical methods basics, theirspossible advantages and disadvantages and shortcomings. The main idea presented in the paper is based on verysimple example – motion in the gravitational field of the earth. The paper is based on [1] presented during 6thAdvances in Mechatronics 2011 in Brno, fulfilled with detailed results of authors yet unpublished.

Research of Conductive Currents in Traction Drive with PMSM

Radovan DOLEČEK, Jaroslav NOVÁK, Ondrej ČERNÝ

Abstract

The paper deals with the significant results of the research of the conductive current harmonic spectrum in traction drive with permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). The research was done in the experimental workplace with a real traction drive for wheel vehicles. The spectrums were analyzed by the specialized device on the basis of a central measuring station. The knowledge of marked subharmonic components of stator winding currents is the most significant finding of this research. The frequencies of these components are given by frequency multiples of mechanical speeds. The subharmonic components also pass to DC current at the traction inverter input site. This fact is particularly important from the viewpoint of legislative requirements to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of drive with railway interlocking devices.

CAN Messages Transmission Diagnostic Analysis of Avionic System

Jiří PAŘÍZEK, Přemysl JANŮ

Abstract

Digital communication bus Controller Area Network (CAN) that was originally designed for the automotive industry considering its excellent features has become to apply in the aerospace industry. In general one of the requested properties of the aerospace products is
high dependability and maintainability. The paper summarizes CAN diagnostic equipment, which enables to detect, locate and indicate errors and failures and provide characteristics required for the airborne applications. Further the paper analyses transmission CAN
messages behavior of an aircraft electronic system consisting of several modules based on the time-triggered communication mode of the CAN with CANaerospace protocol.

Experimental Parameters Identification of the Human-Pilot Model Behaviour

Rudolf JALOVECKÝ, Přemysl JANŮ, Jan BOŘIL

Abstract

The paper represents one of the other ways how to optimize alternative mathematical human-pilot model usable in the models of the aircraft flight control in the space. In general, the creation of the equivalent human model is very complicated, because the human characteristics are not constant in the time. The characteristics are changing with immediate human ability. At the simulation of the human behaviour is possible to compile only general, an approximate human model. The contribution shows further possibilities how to explore the human-pilot behaviour during the determining of chosen transfer functions parameters.

Offline Parameter Identification - The Random Initial Estimation Issue

Michal DUB

Abstract

Experimental offline identification algorithm is based on minimization of criteria function considering the unknown mathematical model variables. We often use software support of various computing programs to find the minimum of a scalar function of several variables. However, operator has to know initial estimation of the searched parameters to get proper results. If operator sets bad initial estimation, the identification process would find another local minimum or would diverge. This paper is focused on random approach to initial estimation of simple mathematical model using basic MATLAB software support.

Concept Development and Experimentation in STRUCTURE Project

Vitezslav JAROS

Abstract

The creation of the concept is a process stemming from the transformational changes as well as capabilities development. At the onset, the questions and new ideas dealing with capabilities requirements emerged. In the end, the approved concept is implemented into areas influenced by this new approach. The author explains various possibilities for using the CD&E method while working on projects in the armed forces and proposes its application procedure in the defence project STRUCTURE.
